Paul graduated from high school in Portland, Maine. A year after high school, Paul joined the Air Force at age 18 and retired in 1981 after 20 years of service. After retiring from the Air Force, Paul started working at Lockheed Martin in Sunnyvale, CA as an Intelligence Specialist. Paul worked for Lockheed for 17 years before finally retiring for good in 1998. Paul had top-secret clearance for 38 years which he thought was both fun and wonderful.
Paul had a few hobbies that included bowling, collecting baseball cards and eating out.
He is survived by his grandchildren Mary (Joseph) Breeggemann, Katie (Joseph) Burmeister, Michael, Kimberly (Nathan Salden), Joseph, and Jamie (Joseph Salverda), 9 great-grandchildren (Kaylee, Natalie, Lillian, Nathan, Dakota, Joey, Liam, Mason, and Everly), his brother Dale, and several nieces and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Thelma, his wife Linda, his two sons Paul Jr. and Darren, and his sister Mary Lou.
