Ralph Michael Zellers

Ralph Michael Zellers, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025. Born on November 16, 1951, in Indiana to Jafis and Bernice Zellers, Ralph was the youngest of three brothers, preceded in life by Jerry and Lawrence Zellers. He grew up in Chicago, Illinois, where his easy smile, sense of humor, and natural curiosity began to shape the man so many would come to know and love. After high school, Ralph proudly served his country in the United States Navy. During his service in Washington, fate brought him together with the love of his life, Doris, with whom he shared a beautiful marriage of 44 years. Together they built a life filled with laughter, love, and music—a true partnership that touched everyone around them. Ralph worked as an HVAC technician at Bangor Base, where he dedicated more than 30 years of hard work and craftsmanship before his well-earned retirement. Outside of work, Ralph’s passion for golf was unmatched. He adored the game—its challenges, its quiet moments, and the friendships it fostered. Ralph loved spending time with his family, especially during holidays. He was known for making every celebration joyful and memorable, always filling the house with music, laughter, and his trademark words of wisdom. The home he and Doris created was warm and welcoming—a place where everyone felt like family. Ralph’s big smile, hearty laugh, and kind spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving children, Nancy Zellers, Randy Zellers, and Tracy Edwards; his cherished grandchildren, Kayiah Zellers, Isaiah Edwards, Caleb Edwards, and Bryce Edwards; his extended family; and many lifelong friends who were blessed to share in his life and memories. May his legacy of love, laughter, and music continue to echo through the hearts of all who loved him.
