Lived next door to Rob for over 20 years, watched many cars, motorcycles and restorations of gas pumps and toys come and go. He was a master and could fix, build or repair almost anything. One time he couldn't find a bolt of the right size and hardness, so he made one... He offered assistance when needed, but didn't like to ask for much help. He's missed more than he probably knows.

Met Rob in 1987 when we bought the house next door. He was glad to see we had two teenage boys that weren't roudy, well one wasn't anyway. He and the boys got along fine and he would help them with their cars while I was gone on the tugs. Sometime later I introduced him to Gentleman Jack. After the first sip of Gentleman Jack there was "Nnick"!!! Can't remember how many nights over the years we would spend with Jack and listen to John Prine. He knew all the lyrics to John's songs and many other artists. To say Rob was a perfectionist is an understatement, he went beyond that. His finished restoration jobs on his cars and motorcycles was beyond perfection. If there's anything in Heaven that needs fixed you can be assured it's going to be fixed and done right. He loved his Labs, all five of them, Kokee, Tracey, Willow, Dora and Florence. I'm sure they are all together now. Well Rob, here's a shot of Gentleman Jack to you, "Nnick"!!

I delivered to Robert for years. (UPS) I always enjoyed hearing what he was working on (cars Motorcycles ect). Robert was a very talented man he helped me with my vehicle as well. Robert loved his dogs with all of his heart. I will miss his humor and kind face and will never forget him.

Rob had a quick wit and twisted sense of humor which I loved. He really loved and cared for his dogs. He enjoyed many types of music, especially the lyrics of John Prine, but probably the blues artists were his favorite, and he was very knowledgable about them. He also meticulously rebuilt cars and motorcycles to perfection. He could really make me laugh. Thank you, Rob, for being part of my life.
