

Roland Pablo Paulino was born on May 9, 1973, in Bremerton, Washington, to Ramon and Barbara Paulino. Roland was 51 years old when he passed away on February 10, 2025, in Bremerton, Washington. He was a devoted father and grandfather, a foodie, a sports enthusiast, and a jokester. Roland graduated from W.T. Sampson High School at Guantanamo Naval Base, Cuba, in the class of 1991. He was voted most school-spirited and is remembered fondly by his classmates.
Roland spent most of his professional life giving to others, whether working in the service industry, running his own food truck, or working at South Kitsap High School. He was active and enjoyed bowling with his family and coaching his children’s and grandchildren’s sports teams. He loved to read, eat all types of candy, listen to a wide variety of music—especially reggae and hip-hop from the '80s and early '90s—tell dad jokes, and have fun with his children, grandchildren, and family. Roland could always be found at the barbecue grill with a smile on his face, spatula, and tongs in hand.
Roland was predeceased by his older brother, Robert Pablo Paulino. He is survived by his five daughters: TasiAna M. Babauta, KamoLynn R. Babauta-Paulino, Alexandra R. Kessler-Paulino and Mikel Gregory, Samantha C. Paulino-Borja and Jayven Borja, and Corrie R. Paulino. Roland has four grandchildren: Zyion R. Paulino-Ignacio, Zurai R. D. Paulino-Reyes, SaveaLynn L. Taimalie, and Ezra S. Gregory. He is also survived by his parents, Ramon Kamo Paulino and Barbara Pablo Paulino, and his brothers: Ramon and Doreen Paulino, Revonda Paulino (†Robert), and Randy and Tiffany Paulino.
