

She was born on April 10, 1954, in Tamuning, Guam, to Francisco and Regina Bamba.
Teresita grew up in Mongmong, Guam, and later lived in Santa Rita after marrying the love of her life, Edward Quintanilla. She was a dedicated stay-at-home mother for many years, but when Edward retired medically, she pursued further education, earning her certificate and beginning her career as a general clerk. Teresita worked at the Navy Exchange on the Naval Base in Guam, later transferring to Bremerton when the family relocated.
She was a devout member of the Holy Trinity Parish and an active member of the church choir. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she was deeply involved in the Church of God community. While family life had its challenges, Teresita’s love and commitment to her children never wavered, and she worked hard to keep faith and family at the center.
Teresita’s passions included family gatherings and outdoor adventures, especially time spent with her brother Anthony and his family. She loved discussing and planning menus for family get-togethers, ensuring everyone brought a dish that could be enjoyed together. These shared meals were a way she expressed love, created connection, and celebrated the joy of being together. She was known for her selflessness, her willingness to carry the burdens of others, and her unwavering dedication to the people she loved.
Teresita is survived by her beloved husband, Edward; children Eddie Buck, Sherry, John Paul, and Isidra; grandchildren Eiden, Elijah, Gabrielle, Damien, LaMya, Jowan, Jaiden, Leilani, Jerome, Emini, and Raquel; siblings Frankie, Rosa, Roque, and Anthony. She is preceded in death by her parents Francisco and Regina; children Ben Frank and Wes; and siblings Maria, Peter, Vincent, Gregorio, John, Pling, Marikit, and David.
Her life was a testament to her faith, her resilience, and her enduring love for her family. She will be remembered for her gentle heart, her devotion to God, and her boundless generosity.
