Timothy Averitt

As a young man, Tim joined the US Navy and traveled the world for 20 years while serving his country. Tim met the love of his life, Fe, while stationed in the Philippines. They were married in the Philippines where they also had their one child together, Tim. They shared 32 years of marriage. After 20 years, Tim retired from the Navy and started working at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 15 years as a Marine Technician in Shop 51. Tim had a love for reading books. Most days he could be found in his favorite spot on the couch with his best buddy, Craig the pit-bull, engrossed in a new book. If he wasn't reading, Tim also loved his Seattle Sports teams and never missed a chance to cheer on the Seahawks and the Mariners. He loved to bake yummy desserts and barbecue. Anyone who knew him, knew his love for sweets, most of all chocolate, and his wife's cooking!

His loved ones describe him as a sweet and kind soul, with a warm smile that lights up a room. Tim is survived by his wife, Fe, his son, Tim, his daughter in law, Rylie, his grandson, Landon, and his pitbull Craig.
