William "Sam" Burke, 74 passed away on December 10, 2020 at St, Michaels Medical Center. Born in Denver, Colorado on October 21,1946 to Alvin and Italia Burke. He joined the US Navy in 1964 and married his high school sweetheart Myra on October 8,1967. He served his country for 30 years and retired a Command Master Chief in 1994.
He enjoyed spending his free time going to Movies, watching Westerns on TV and loved watching his favorite Football team the Denver Broncos. He also loved spending time with family and friends and loved to travel.
He was predeceased by his wife Myra in 2015 and a granddaughter in 2010. He is survived by his 4 children Tammy, Shannon, Derek and Brandi of Bremerton, 6 Grandchildren, and 8 Great Grandchildren.
There will be a viewing on Wednesday December 23, 2020 at Miller Woodlawn Funeral Home at 2:00pm.
There will be a Memorial at a later date in which the family will notify loved ones when it will be held.
