Look at that smile!  I remember the smile.  So many times I have thought of Chellam's wife, Selvi.  She, also, had a warm smile and gentle, kind ways.  Fond memories of both.

Selvi, when I think of Chellam, the verse, "Well done, my good and faithful servant." is so appropriate.  He was always helpful and cheerful.  Both of you supported our family and the Takoma Park SDA Church.  Son, Graham, says that he has a good memory of him.  Selvi, you are special to me for our friendship during that time.  I was so impressed by the collection of photos of your family through the years.  Lots of smiles recorded in them.  May you cherish your memories and may the Lord be your husband now, comforting, strengthening, granting courage and the blessed hope.

Selvi, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Chellum. This has been such a difficult time for you and you have been in my thoughts, I pray that God will not only comfort you, but also strengthen you as you attempt to move through the grief of missing your loved ones and learning to live without them.  I miss seeing you and Chellum's smiling faces each sabbath. I look forward to when we can meet again, if not here on this earth then in the earth made new.  What a beautiful day that will be!

He will be missed by so many countless people. So hard to believe that he went to  be with all  the angels in his life who went before.......

On behalf of my family in the US, and our extended family in India, I would like to offer our sincerest condolences to the Moses family. We are all very shocked and saddened by Uncles passing.  I can only imagine what this family must have gone through these past few months. It is truly heartbreaking.  
For our family Uncle and Aunty were like gods.  They have so done much for our family over the years.  It would take us several lifetimes to repay their kindness.  
When we were growing up, the one bright spot in our lives was Uncle’s visit to India.  That was something my sister and I would look greatly look forward to.  When in India Uncle would regale us with stories on how he met Aunty, how he got married to Aunty – the things he had to do to get married to Aunty, and how life was in America.  There was never a dull moment when Uncle was around.  We learnt so much from him. He was always so full of life and energy, that handsome face, the twinkle in his eye, that infectious laughter, and that’s why it makes his passing so very hard to accept.  
He had a big heart.   Uncle was there for us whenever we needed him. He was there to comfort us when my father died suddenly, he was there when I got married, when my sister got married and many other occasions. He was always helping people out despite the personal cost to him.  If there was anything he could do for you, he would simply do it.  He wouldn’t hesitate. That’s how uncle was.  
Uncle was ever green, and he shall always be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. We hope he is at peace.
