Adrian William Winslow

Adrian William Winslow was born in Washington DC on November 21, 1973. As a young boy Adrian was talkative, energetic and a joy to be around. He went through catholic schooling and pursued an enjoyment for the arts. He even played the piano. Adrian was great in the arts but was more passionate about singing and dancing which led him to Duke Ellington School of the Arts. He enjoyed his studies there and went to California Institution of the Arts (CalArts).

After that he worked for many dance companies and traveled to many countries showing off his talents. When he returned home he chose family life. He had three children Adrian K Winslow, Samya and Kaliah Curtis.

He still continued in the arts and helped low income communities learn the beauty of the arts and how it ties to learning. After that he wanted to expand his knowledge about his culture. He partnered with LearnIng Life, a non- profit organization that helps low income family’s gain knowledge about eating right, food and culture around the world. He was able to learn about health and other countries with his kids. Adrian had an amazing life he explored and touched many lives. Adrian passed away on June 1, 2023. He is in heaven and will light up the gates with love for all of us.
