To everything there is a season…. Time to be Born and a Time to die……
And so it is with our beloved sister, Alice Faye McClarin, affectionately known as “Sister” born to the late David and Odessa Whitley McClarin on November 3, 1947, in Greene County, NC. “Sister” departed this life on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at her home in Capital Heights, MD. In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by grandparents David and Della McKinney McClarin and brother, William “Snook” McClarin.
Sister attended the Wayne County Public Schools and graduated from Central High School in 1966. She retired from the Department of Federal Fairs with 30 plus years of service.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: Special Friend; Michael Williams of Washington, D.C, son; Harry McClarin of Goldsboro, NC, Sisters; Joyce (Jimmie) Graham of LaGrange, NC, Judie McClarin of LaGrange, NC and Betty McClarin Johnston of Goldsboro, NC, Brothers; Alton (Earlene) McClarin and Chester (Yvonne) McClarin both of Goldsboro, NC. One aunt, Melva Lewis of Columbia, MD. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
