Amos Monroe Sharpe, age 80, of Washington, District of Columbia passed away on Saturday March 30, 2019. Amos was born November 14, 1938 in Pinetops, NC.

A visitation will occur Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home, 3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, Maryland 20722. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home, 3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, Maryland 20722. A burial for Amos will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 12:00 AM at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1300 BLADENSBURG RD NE, WASHINGTON, District of Columbia 20002-1802.

Upon employment with DC gov't Amos, was always there to advise me,on the job or personal matters, if I wanted it or not!!~!~ (LOL), and I will always love him for that!!! When he snatched his glasses off, I knew I was in BIG TROUBLE and was going to get a stern talking to!!! Big brother I will always think of you and add you to my list of loved ones that have gone before you that I pray and think about every day!!! Rest on Dear brother in paradise!!!
