Andre Michael Harrison

Andre Michael Harrison was born in Washington, DC on November 30, 1951, son of the late John Harrison and Queenie Scott.

A TIME FOR EDUCATION AND LABOR

Andre graduated from Cardozo High School in 1970 and studied at Knoxville College. He loved helping people and had a long career at Pepco as a Customer Service Representative.

A TIME TO SERVE

Andre accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

A TIME FOR UNITING

Andre was married to Brenda Berry in 1982. However, that union ended in divorce in 1990.

A TIME TO LIVE

Andre was an exceptional basketball player, affectionately known as “Buckets”. He was also an avid football fan of the Redskins (The Washington Football Team).

Andre was truly passionate about spending time with his family and friends. He was a connoisseur of quality foods and restaurants. He enjoyed his meals and did not gain a pound. Also, Andre was a superb hand dancer, had a unique style of dress and loved traveling. His cheerful smile and laughter were infectious.

A TIME TO DIE

On November 5, 2020, the bright spirit of Andre went peaceably to be with the Lord.

A daughter, Akina Jackson; son, Justin Harrison; devoted brother, Donald (Sandra); faithful and loving sister, Lillian Huff; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loyal friends. Andre was preceded in death by his eldest son, Eric Harrison.
