Ann Hall Glascock

Ann Currier Hall Glascock, 91, peacefully passed away February 23, 2023, at Bedford Assisted Living in Silver Spring, Maryland. She had resided there for a year. She was the wife of William Howard Glascock who preceded her in death in 1979. She was the only daughter of Leonard Rufus Hall and Mary Ann Currier Hall Selfe, and stepdaughter to Lee Webster Selfe. She is survived by her daughters and their spouses, JoJo (Kenneth) Montgomery and Billie (Melvin) Hall, her five grandchildren, Pamela (Todd) Bayles, Melissa (Matt) Barry, Jason (Becky) Montgomery, Joshua (Kimberly) Montgomery and Jessica (Brian) Touchard, along with eleven great-grandchildren.

She was born in Wilmington, Delaware and graduated high school from Marshall High School in Texas. She then went on to graduate from the University of Texas with her BA. She worked several jobs including Guardian Life Insurance Company, Firestone Tire, Applied Physics Laboratory, and AT&T until she finally went to work for the Small Business Administration in 1959. That same year, her and her husband purchased a small farm off Columbia Pike in Silver Spring, Maryland. She taught horseback riding, raised racehorses and was an active member of the Goshen Hunt club in Maryland. After her retirement in 1988, she purchased a condominium on Marco Island, Florida where she would escape to during Maryland’s cold winter months. She was a valued asset to the Admiralty House Board of Directors. She played an active role on the Board for many years, also which included being board president for several of those years. Through all of her volunteer work she established friendships that lasted a lifetime and meant the world to her. Although she traveled the world extensively, being at her condominium on Marco was truly her favorite place to be. She will be greatly missed.
