Ann Kennedy MacDonald, age 101, of Laurel, MD passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026. Ann was born June 14, 1924 in Washington, D.C., the daughter of the late Norma and Earl MacDonald. She was preceded in death by her brother Donald Edward MacDonald and his wife Mary Frances MacDonald, brother John David MacDonald, and nephews Timothy and Brian MacDonald. Ann is the aunt to Donald, Brenda, and Leah MacDonald, great aunt to Benjamin MacDonald and Pauline Shirey (husband Damon), and great great aunt to Elliott, Gabriel, and Atrus Shirey.
Ann was a long time federal employee and retired from the Securities and Exchange Commission. After retiring she worked at the local Hyattsville library for many years. She loved to travel and spend time with her family.
Ann will be missed by her family and will always be in our hearts.
