November 11, 1960 – June 17, 2022
Annette Littlejohn Hunter was born on November 11, 1960, in Kings Mountain, North Carolina to the late Howard and Mattie Littlejohn. She peacefully departed this life with her family by her side on Friday, June 17, 2022. As a young girl, she accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her savior and was baptized at St. Peter Baptist Church in Grover, North Carolina. Annette received her primary education from the North Carolina public school system and after graduation moved to Washington, DC to join her siblings and started her career in behavioral health.
Annette will fondly be remembered as the lone sister in the family that never said no. She was often referred to as Ms. Love because of her loving and giving spirit. One of our fondest memories of Annette will be calling her sisters just to say hello and always ending the call with I Love You.
Most of all she will be remembered for the love she had for her family, especially her nieces and nephews who she would do anything she could for them. Our memories of her will be everlasting and live on forever.
Annette was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Amos and Henry, sister Janice, nephew Maurice and great niece Miya. She leaves to cherish her fond memories, sisters, Hettie, Frances, Lorine, Emma, and Agnes; one brother James; six nieces, Kim, Iris, Yasmin, Brandy, Porsche, and Jessica, four nephews, Marcel, James, Frankie, and Jermaine; six great nieces, five great nephews and one great-great niece, life-long friends, Scott, Cynthia, and Cherryl, and many more devoted family and friends.
Though we are deeply saddened, we will forever cherish the memories and are thankful for the opportunity to have Annette in our lives.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.fort-lincoln.com for the Hunter family.
