Calvin Lorenzo Williams was born on September 11, 1949 in Raleigh, North Carolina. He was the second oldest of eight children to the late James Arthur and Flonnie Lee Williams. Calvin attended the Raleigh NC public school systems until the Williams family moved to Washington D.C., where Calvin graduated from Cardoza Senior High School.
Calvin went on to work at George Washington University, (GWU). He was a dedicated employee and loved the GWU campus environment.
Calvin loved traveling and Artistic painting, and his love of sports made him a loyal Washington Commanders, (formally Redskins) fan. He was very competitive in basketball, handball, pool, chess, and other sports.
A visitation for Calvin will be held Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 12:30 PM at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home, 3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, Maryland 20722. A celebration of life will occur Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 1:30 PM, 3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, Maryland 20722. A burial will occur Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 2:30 PM at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, MD 20722.
