Dear Carletta,

It’s been a while since I last seen or talked to you. Time moved by so quickly in a blink of an eye. I remembered when I started working at Aramark and was put in the stand you were in. You always had your hair done with those fancy ponytails. Always smiling, great conversationalist, and you didn’t let anyone get to you. You stood your ground and stuck to your beliefs. It’s sad that you are no longer here, but I will catch up with you one day. Until then, just remember that you will never be forgotten. It was wonderful meeting you. God Bless!

My condolences to the family in the loss of Carletta. We lived on the same street - across from each other for over 40 years and watched each other grow up.  May you rest in the sweet precious arms of God. No more pain or suffering for you.  You will be truly missed.



🌹I remember when Carla (that's the nickname I gave her), was admitted to the hospital for an accidental arm burn when she was a little thing., and I was a teen. I was asked to stay with her during the day while because her parents had to work. When the nurse put Carla in the therapy pool to clean her arm, she screamed and cried so much I told that nurse to let me do it. Sure enough, babygirl was relieved. She trusted me and felt my love for her. So from that day on, I was the one who cleaned and helped nurse her arm😊
