Charles Clifford Holt Jr., affectionately known as “Chuck” departed this life on December 30, 2024. He was born October 31,1955 in Lexington, NC to Gwendolyn Holt and the late Charles Clifford Holt Sr.
Charles was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Christine Gillis. Charles is survived by his mother, Gwendolyn Holt-Paylor, his brother Alexander Holt (Marilyn), and his nephew Brandon Holt (Sabree), along with two nieces, Alisha and Rachel Holt, three great-nephews, and two great-nieces. He also leaves behind a host of extended family and friends who will forever cherish his memory and the impact he had on their lives.
A visitation for Charles will be held Friday, January 17, 2025, at 12:30 PM at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home, 3401 BLADENSBURG RD, BRENTWOOD, MD 20722. A celebration of life will occur Friday, January 17, 2025 at 1:30 PM, 3401 BLADENSBURG RD, BRENTWOOD, MD 20722. A committal service will occur Friday, January 17, 2025, at 2:30 PM at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, MD 20722.
