Charles R. Yeager was born March 1, 1934. He was the only son of Charles E. Yeager and Leota (Gosnell) Yeager both who preceded him in death. He lived his entire life in Brentwood, Maryland except for his years in the U.S. Army. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1962. He never married and had no children. Mr. Yeager after many years retire as a retail salesman from the Hechts/Macy Department Store. He was a devoted lifetime member of the Mt. Hermon Masonic Lodge 179 of Hyattsville, Maryland, a member of the College Park Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 453 and was a member of the American Legion Post 436. After several months of illness, he passed away peacefully on July 14, 2021. There will be a viewing from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at the Fort Lincoln Funeral Home at 3401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, Maryland 20772. Burial at Fort Lincoln Cemetery will follow immediately thereafter.
