

Diannia (Diane) Amanda Standard passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025, in Silver Spring, Maryland. She was born on December 10, 1950, in Washington, D.C., to Grace Humphrey Standard and Charles Lester Standard.
Diannia lived a vibrant, passionate life that touched every person fortunate enough to know her. A woman of deep faith, she carried herself with grace, kindness, and unwavering compassion. Creative, loving, and always willing to lend a helping hand, Diannia’s warmth and generosity left a lasting impact on all who crossed her path.
A proud native of Washington, D.C., Diannia graduated from Spingarn High School. She remained a lifelong learner and instilled that same love of knowledge in her children and grandchildren. Her steadfast belief that she could do all things through Christ strengthened her throughout her life.
Diannia is survived by her daughter Tosha Green (Christopher Osbey); her son Ryan Standard (Kimberly Standard); her cherished grandchildren Kirstin, Kayden, and Sebastien; and her beloved sisters Towannie Lewis and Karen Pearson. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family whom she adored deeply.
She is reunited in eternal peace with her mother Grace, her father Charles, and her brother Joe.
A celebration of Diannia’s life will be held on November 20, 2025, at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home.
