Elizabeth Marie Waters, known to family and friends as Marie, was born on January 26, 1945, passed away on February 17, 2026, at the age of 81. Marie was born and raised in Washington DC. She attended DC public schools. She retired from the federal government. She was a resident of Bowie, Maryland.
Marie loved to cook, she loved to sew, and she loved any tv show about Alaska. Her favorite sports to watch were Golf and Tennis. She loved spending holidays surrounded by family.
She leaves behind her two daughters Lisa and Robin and son Leighton. Grandchildren: Tim, Rob, Miguel, Brandon, Brandi, Meagan, Wesley, Ricardo, Courtney, Landing and Tre and Great-granddaughters Sage, Jaida and Acara. Her aunt Yvonne, cousins Laverne, Iris, and Renee and a host of other family and friends.
