Ellen Lee Richardson

Ellen Lee Richardson, 79, died July 4, 2024, at Capitol Caring Hospice at the Sibley Hospital Washington, DC.

Mrs. Richardson was born March 25, 1945, in lake City, South Carolina to the late Sidney Joe and Zelma Elizabeth McFadden.

She moved to Washington, DC in the early 60’s with her husband and three sons. She graduated from the MedTech College and later worked at the Georgetown University Hospital Department Of OB/GYN.

She was a member of the Evangel Cathedral in Upper Marlboro, Maryland and practiced her faith serving the community earning accommodations.

A visitation for Ellen will be held Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home, 3401 BLADENSBURG RD, BRENTWOOD, MD 20722. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 3401 BLADENSBURG RD, BRENTWOOD, MD 20722. A committal service will occur Saturday, July 20, 2024 at External Service Location, 3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, MD 20722.
