Ethel Vaughan Jackson

Ethel Vaughan Jackson, a devoted Jehovah Witness of Washington, DC departed this life on Saturday, December 26, 2021. Born in Massie Mills, VA February 14, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Perry R. Vaughan and Maria Smith Vaughan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Jackson.

She leaves to cherish her memories one brother, Shaffer W. Vaughan (Thelma) both of Roseland, VA, two stepdaughters, Martha Jackson Jarvis of Washington, DC and Janet H. Jackson of Lynchburg, VA .

Three sisters-in-law, Parthenia Vaughan and Elois Vaughan and LaVerne Miles Jackson.

Renee Reed Battiste devoted niece, host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, other loving relatives and friends.

There will be viewing for the family only on Thursday, January 6 between 5p.m.-8p.m. at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home, 3401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, MD 20722.

The Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 4111 Pennsylvania Avenue, Suitland, MD 20746

Please note: the Woodridge Congregation of Jehovah Witness will conduct a Memorial Virtual Service, January 6, 2022 at 10:30a.m.
