Entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD after a long illness. She was born on July 4, 1932 in Bowman, SC. Eula worked at NIH for over 25 years. She is preceded in death by both parents, sister, Fannie H. Adams and Helen Claggett. Eula is survived by her husband, Lonnie Cheeks; stepson and daughter-in-law, Lonnie Jr. and Pamelar; four step-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren, sister, Eunice Johnson; brother-in-law, Ricardo T. Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held on Monday, April 9 at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home. Viewing 12:30 p.m. Service 1:30 p.m. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
