To the family, sorry for your loss. "We don`t know what to say exactly that we love you. We can`t understand exactly how you feel, but the great God Jehovah does and will keep raising you up. We hope that our prayers will help a little". "May Jehovah God sustain you at this time of such great loss."

Wow I can't believe I'm reading this RIP my brother we had so many good times at work when u was working at NIH I remember buying your first cd .. prayers to the family

Last night, I swear I felt Mother Nature herself fall quiet for a long moment of silence, paying her respects to a great spirit, George Jamison; one of the greatest humans we have ever known, my music twin and our band brother, my role model in terms of how big his heart was and how much bigger his voice was. #Salute to our stage general and mentor. He taught us well and never stopped surprising us with his vocal abilities. He was one of the strongest men I’ve known, doing handstand pushups before gigs and succumbed to his battle with a disease that he fought with the same fervor that he lived and performed with.

G was an artist first and has one of the few original art pieces still on display at the National Museum of African American History & Culture from his stint with #Akademiks brand. George Jamison has an album you can listen to and art he did with RockDeep but his opus ones are his beautiful daughters who will carry his memory on with pride.

Spectrum salutes our captain for the better part of 30 years George Jamison with this last song for his fans, loved ones and family to cherish. George Jamison was a man full of love, laughter, magic and music. I’ve met a lot of people in my life but, have had the pleasure and blessing of knowing people like this very rarely. And one like him only once!

And so it goes. As G would often say, raise your glasses in honor of this special moment. Say his name, Sing his way, Love with the open heart he loved with & remember when he told you, nothing can change this love I have for you, he meant it.

Riff in peace my brother, until we meet again in the great gig in the sky & every gig thereafter

Fresh to life in the Pendry won’t hit the same now my bro

Great times on stage with the master blaster host with the most G Wes Jamison.

My heart hurts for the family and those who knew your kindness and talent. We will treasure the moments you gave us from DC Youth Summer Employment, and productions such as: Santa’s Workshop”, Black Reflections” to the wonderful vocals of Reign and Spectrum. It was once said that your voice was pure and so was your heart.

I’ll miss you. Ms. Cosby✝️🎶💔

My brother was my very first best friend. He always put everyone first and never wanted to be a burden. I told him as often as I could that I love him. He was the best brother a sister could ask for. He will be so missed in my life.

Hearing you sing is proof that God exists. As you get called to a higher place, I hope you rest peacefully and sing with the angels. You will forever be loved and missed.

G and Spectrum performing Nothing Can Change This Love. Secretly we sang to our families so girls this is for you

I’ve been trying to find the right words for George, and I’m not sure they exist. He left an imprint on my heart that will never fade. He was one of the gentlest, kindest people I’ve ever known, and he had a way of making you feel like the most important person in the world without even trying.

For about 5 years, George and I sang together in Spectrum. I loved those times, but my favorite memories are from off the stage: listening to music, singing out hearts out in the car, watching football and movies, vegging out, shopping, karaoke with Chuck Miller, Yellow Dub Shows, Austin Grill, laughing, traveling and just talking about life. George was my best friend.

But the thing about George was that he was everybody’s friend. That’s just who he was. He had the biggest heart and would have done anything for anyone. He made life a little brighter and a whole helluva lot more fun just by being himself.

George, thank you for all the love you gave me. Life may have taken us in different directions, but nothing will ever change how much you meant to me. You touched so many lives and I’m incredibly lucky that mine was one of them.

Rest easy now, sweet Georgey. I hope you left this world knowing just how deeply you were loved. ❤️
