I'm so very sorry for your loss and my prayers are with you.  Your dad was a very nice person, and a helping hand to all who needed assistance at Department of Public Works such a joy.   He will always be remembered as part of the DPW family.

Rosslyn, we all know that Greg surely will be missed.  Know that he is smiling down on you and his beloved children and grandchildren watching you thrive. Grieve as you all should, cling to each other, acknowledging how rich your lives will continue to be having had Big Greg in them for this brief time on earth. Love you all!!

Mr. Spriggs and I stood outside the church where Mike Stover’s services was held back in December and chatted for about an hour in the cold (didn’t matter to us we were glad to see some of the old crew as we called ourselves). Conversing about his new home,our health, coworkers, etc. He was always pleasant and friendly person, no matter what the situation was, you gonna get a smile or kind words from him. Rest well Mr. Spriggs 

I wish I could be there your dad look out for me and he knew my twins father I stayed in contact till he didn't answer the phone any more I will truly miss him.  He called me Thunder .  I send u a great big hug and prayers your way.  Hold on to God cause he won't change

The Spriggs were neighbors that always engaged in conversation (especially Greg.)  His endearment to my 93 year mother was amazing.  There was never a time that he didn't wink at her and make her smile.  His gentle demeanor will be missed.  Our prayers of encouragement to his family and acknowledgement of a good neighbor are heartfelt....we celebrate a life well lived.  

So sorry that Greg has passed.  I have a lot of fond memories of him.  He was the strong silent type.  He was always loving and inviting and a very good host at events.  He loved watching sports.  He will be missed.  Thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends.  May we all be strengthened always and especially now.
