Growing up in DC, Gwen completed her early education at Peabody Elementary, Stuart Junior High, and Dunbar High Schools. Following high school graduation, Gwen excelled in learning at Strayer College. She then pursued a successful role for five (5) years as Secretary at George Washington University. She then experienced a rewarding 30-year career as Executive Secretary at Gallaudet University within the Dean’s Office where she was blessed to retire.
