Born May 3, 1933 in Garten, WV, he was the son of the late Samuel James and Sadie Mae Claytor Ritchie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Henry, James, Joseph and William and sisters, Goldie Diamond, Lurinda Ritchie and Dorothy Bibb.
Left to cherish precious memories are his brothers, Thomas (Yasuko) Ritchie of Vacaville, CA, Samuel Ritchie of Washington, DC, friend Ken Jue of Silver Spring, MD and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be on January 4, 2019 with the viewing starting at 12:30, funeral at 1:30, internment following the funeral, and a repast starting around 3:00. All activities will be held at the Fort Lincoln Funeral Home, 3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, MD. 20722
