Later, the Church’s name was changed to The Renaissance Baptist Church, where Reverend D. Mitchell Ford, Senior Pastor, served as her Spiritual Leader until her passing. Also, under the leadership of Pastor Ford, Helen was ordained as a Deacon. Deacon Helen Williams knew the power of Prayer. She was very active in her youth, played softball and bowled in multiple leagues. She enjoyed family gatherings and was an outstanding cook.
