She was the first-born child to the late Jesse James Hopkins and Ada Whitner Hopkins on April 16, 1942, in Newberry, South Carolina.
She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters and a son: Mrs. Kizzy Miller of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Mr. Don Washington of Oxon Hill, Maryland and Mrs. Audrey Vincent of Indian Head, Maryland
A public visitation for Jessie will be held Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, Maryland 20722, followed by a funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
