
She remained in Connecticut as a child going to "Hole in the Wall" beach and enjoying family outings in Long Island Sound. The family then moved to Washington D.C. where her father worked for a Naval Research Lab.
She graduated high school then married William McCallum a firefighter. She has 4 children and worked as a dental assistant. She raised her children into adulthood always putting them first.
She loved her family , flowers, long walks, laughter, and good conversation. She had a strong faith in God that carried her through life's journey.
She is survived by her four children Debora, Kathyrn, Michael, and Nancy all of Maryland; her nieces Coralee and Cindy; her nephew Billy; and 2 cousins in Connecticut. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister.
She will be forever in our hearts and remembered for her strength, tenacity, and her love for God.
A graveside service will be held at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home & Cemetery, located at 3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, MD, 20722, United States. The service is scheduled for November 19, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
