

John (Johnny) Warren Craft passed away peacefully on May 10, 2021, surrounded by his family, including his wife Kathy; children Kevin, JC, and Jamie; and Ciji Miller. He leaves behind his sister Patricia Elder, brother Robert Craft, and sister Carol Wenk (Doug), along with his daughter-in-law Leah and grandchildren Justin and Leliana. He was preceded by his parents Jeanne and Arless Craft, and aunt G. Mary Mettler.
John was born in Washington, D.C. and attended Bladensburg H.S., Bladensburg, MD, Class of 1966. He served in the Marine Corps for two years and then became a career firefighter in Prince George's County, MD, retiring in 1995.
After retiring from the fire department, he was a chauffeur for Flynn Limousine, Upper Marlboro, MD, from 1995 to 2000. He was a sports fan and followed the Washington Nationals and the Washington Football Team.
Viewing and visitation to occur on Tuesday May 25th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday May 26, from 12:30 to 1:30 PM at Ft. Lincoln Funeral Home and Cemetery at 3401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, MD, 20722. Memorial service to commence at 1:30 PM followed by graveside burial at Ft. Lincoln Cemetery adjacent to the Funeral Home.
