

Joyce, the only child of Edward Rawson and Doris Elizabeth Flint, was born on September 10, 1932, in Washington DC. She was predeceased in death by her parents, sons David Andrew Bobick (Lela), Thomas Edward Bobick, grandchildren Shannon Marie Flora and Thomas Anthony Bobick. She is survived by her loving husband Fleming (Pete) Litteral Jr., children Daniel Roy Bobick, Donald Rawson Bobick (Alice), Carol Anne Bobick, grandchildren Nahim Guillermo Rosa, Jason Andrew Bobick, Rebecca Anne Bobick (Steven Dawaine Smith), as well as seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by her best friend since childhood, Shirley Colligan.
Joyce spent her childhood in Kenilworth, MD and moved to Cheverly, MD as a teenager. After graduating from Bladensburg High School in 1950, she was an apprentice draftsman under her father, and worked for the Maryland-National Capital Park & Planning Commission, National Geographic, and the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority. After retiring from WMATA, Joyce and her husband Pete moved to Reedville, VA to spend their retirement years on the “Rivah” and traveling.
