Kathy Christine Thomas

During her school years she met her childrens father and longtime love Perry Thomas and they had two beautiful children together Perry Jr and Kiana. Later in life KT worked at GEICO for 30 plus years breaking boundaries as sometimes the only black woman in her department. With her health starting to fail her she retired in 2007.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and auntie. She was a loving person who was one to give you the shirt off her back if she could. She lived her last years trying her best to enjoy herself and finally letting her loved ones do for her as she has done so much for everyone else. On May 17th God called her home to everlasting rest.

Kathy is survived by her daughter Kiana, her brother Gregory Hughes, and sisters Diane Champion and Phyllis Hughes. She also has two beautiful granddaughters Giavonni and Aziah Thomas and a loving daughter-in-law Moneika Thomas along with a host of other family and friends.
