Kevin Renee Taylor

Eunice “Jackie” Mustin and Charles “stompy” Taylor on April 4, 1958, in Fairfax VA. The eldest of 6 children Scheffe Taylor, Melvin Taylor, Charles “Bruce” Taylor, Barry Taylor, and Troy Taylor. From his siblings Kevin now has 3 new sister in law’s and 9 nieces and nephews.

Young Adult Life…

After 7 years serving in the United States Army, Kevin decided to return Home to Virginia and start His Adult life. Creating fun times with family and friends as “the life of the party”. By 1991, Kevin had 2 daughters (Artyce Dozier & Shanyce Chambers). Kevin Married Debroah Savoy-Taylor and she gave Kevin his only Son Marcus Savoy. This blended family was always full of love, laughs, memories, and lessons that his children will carry in their hearts forever!

To his Grand children Taylor Dozier(13), Morgan Chambers(10), Tony Chambers Jr. (8) and Samar Chambers(1), Kevin was simply known as “POP POP”. A Funny, Strong and Loving force, that found joy in watching his grand children grow and develop into their own selves. After retiring from WMATA (over 30 years of work), His plan was to enjoy retirement with his wife, children, family and friends and anyone who had the pleasure to have a heart felt conversation with Him! Know that he was A true Maverick, who truly demonstrated “Live your Life..How you want” We will honor his legacy for generations to come!
