here today, to everyone who has sent their condolences and prayers for my
family, they are very comforting in this difficult time and have been a
reminder of the impact that Khafra had on so many others lives. She was a
very special to us all.
Khafra K George was Born on May 11th, 1988, at San Fernando General
Hospital Trinidad West Indies, Khafra was the third child to Monette George
and the Late Grantley Leacock. She was a bubbly bouncing chocolate
baby. She attended Cipario RC School in Trinidad, and Ste Madeleine
Secondary School. Khafra then migrated to the United States Of America
where she Graduated from Roosevelt High School in Washington D.C.
Growing up Khafra loved reading, hanging out with her family and friends,
Khafra was an adventurous young lady, never backed down from a
challenge, Pushed herself to the limit, anything she set her mind to she
accomplished. Khafra was the cool, calm and collective one, while both her
sisters are a bit on the rough side lol. Reading was her favorite hobby, she
could lose herself in books for hours and not make a move. Her smile
would ignite a room, her presence would always make you feel welcomed
along with a good ole drink lol. Yes! She loved her a good drink. One of her
favorite things was Church she loved her Church family and her faith.
Nothing could separate her from them. Pepper sauce was her favorite
condiment to add food, listen that girl could eat ah pepper Lawd Gawd, and
trust she not sharing not one drop. We would miss those pepper sauce
discussions. Khafra was an amazing Daughter, Sister, Aunty and Friend.
Khafra was a very Pleasant, Warm, Inviting and Happy Woman.
Khafra left an amazing impact on our lives, one that can never be replaced
or forgotten.
She leaves behind her Mother Monette George; Sisters Keisha George and
Keleine Leacock; Nephews Kyle Leacock, Kymani Mitchell, Kyrie Leacock
