Lenwood Lee was born on September 11, 1938 in Maxton, North Carolina. Lenwood transitioned from this life on November 24, 2021 at Genesis Crescent Cities Center in Riverdale, Maryland. He was preceded in death by his mother Luevater Lee, his sons Preston Lee and Bernard Alexander, and his daughter Luevater Lee.
Lenwood worked for the United States Army Map Service, under the Department of Defense in Washington, DC for over thirty years until his retirement. He was a very social, likeable person with a great sense of humor. He loved his family and friends, and enjoyed traveling. He attended many social events and family reunions. He also enjoyed going to Casinos with family and friends. His favorite Casinos were Delaware Park and Horseshoe.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his daughters, Linda Douglas, Brenda Lee, Vera Adams, Mae Lyons, and Linda Mays Walker. His sons Joseph Lenwood Lee Jr. and David Mays, and his three sons in-law Dwayne Douglas, Warren Adams and Lydell Walker. A host of Grand Children, Great Grand Children, nieces, nephews and cousins.
