Lincoln Samuel Hyatt peacefully transitioned on Thursday November 26th 2020. Lincoln was born in St. Mary, Jamaica on May 24, 1946. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 48 years, Maureen Hyatt and their two beautiful daughters, affectionately known to him as Ms. Joogs and Ms. Googs, Nicole Byam and Natalie Moore. He was the proud grandfather of Sydni, Jaidon, Jasmine, Aidan and Preston. Lincoln is also survived by his siblings, Sheila Hyatt-Bentley, Elaine Dyce, Carl Hyatt, Claire Evans, Grace Gordon, Julette Mattis, Fitzgerald Baley. Predeceased by his parents Clarence and Pearl Hyatt and adored by extended family and friends. Lincoln loved life; his smile was infectious, he brought laughter into every room he entered. Lincoln could often be heard playing Bob Marley’s “No Woman, No Cry” and “One Love” and he never missed a chance to put his best foot forward on the dance floor. He was a proud Jamaican and loved his family and his culture endlessly. A true lover of scotch bonnet peppers, he adored food of all types, especially Jamaican cuisine. Always coaching from the sidelines, Lincoln delighted in playing and watching soccer at all levels especially his daughters and his nephew Richard. Although he wasn’t particularly a fan of band, he was always there to support his girls. He never missed a Sunday in church or an opportunity to talk about their games. We are so thankful for the time we had with him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. Your memory will live forever engraved in our hearts. A private service will be held for the immediate family.
