Lisa Lola Rich, born October 5, 1956, in Washington, DC, attended DC Public Schools, where she laid the foundation for a life marked by dedication, love, and service. She was lovingly given the name "Lola" by her big brother, Norman "Semo" Rich, Sr.
Throughout her career as a Legal Secretary at Foley & Lardner, LLP, Lola earned the respect and admiration of her colleagues through her dedication, unwavering commitment, and exceptional integrity. During her years there, she formed a special bond with April Cunningham, her cherished "work sister" and fellow Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Their friendship was a special part of Lola's life and brought her many cherished memories.
Lola leaves to cherish her precious memory her beloved daughter, Shekita Chantell; her cherished grandson, Ronald "KO"; her precious granddaughter, Zoey; her loving sisters and brothers, Sylvia, Sakeithia "Keify," Karen, Sharon, William "Bo," and Brandon "Bam," her devoted goddaughter, Tiffany, and her lifelong best friends, Biddy, whom she had known since they were 13 years old.
She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, dear friends, and loved ones who will forever carry her memory and hold her close in their hearts.
Lola was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Rich Frazier, and her beloved brother, Norman "Semo" Rich, Sr.
