On Monday, March 4, 2024, our beloved Auntie/Aunt Lois, received her wings and peacefully left us for her eternal resting place; she had been a patient at Carroll Manor Senior Living, Washington DC for 71/2 years.
Auntie was a retired Nurse from Howard University, after 12 years of service.
Before Retirement she enjoyed traveling, and after Retirement she came to love playing Tennis and enjoyed Swimming.
Auntie was predeceased in death by her parents, Joseph and Irma Phillips and her sister, Edna Phillips Futrell. Still surviving are her 2 nieces Wini, of Virginia Beach, VA, Carolyn, of Falls Church, VA, along with one great Niece, Ingrid, and 2 great Nephews, Joseph Jr and Herbert Jr, as well as 4 great great nephews and 3 great great nieces.
There will be a graveside Memorial Service held at the Fort Lincoln Funeral Home, Brentwood, Maryland, on March 22, 2024, at 11:00 AM.
