Marcus Guy was a wonderful person.  He treated me and my family as if we were his own.  When his Dementia became more obvious, I moved in with my mom to help take care of him. One day after eating breakfast, I gave him his favorite, peaches, to eat.  As he was eating I wondered where had I put my glasses. I looked everywhere and turned to ask Marcus had he seen my glasses.  Well, he had seen them and thought they were his. Never mind he already had his glasses on so he put mine on  top of his and didn't miss a beat!


In you we knew what it means to be a big brother, an uncle. You didn’t have to be there, yet we always felt your support.  As many years have passed and we’ve grown older, we “Thank you Uncle Jake” we could lean on your shoulder.
