The news of your departure, dear Mary Rose, brings a wave of sorrow, yet it is tempered by the profound peace of knowing you are now reunited with my beloved mother. You were the final one of that cherished generation, the last sibling to complete their journey and join your brothers and sisters in eternal rest. The thought of you, my dear aunt, once again in my mother's embrace, sharing stories and laughter beyond the veil, offers a deeply comforting image amidst our grief. She Released Her Wings

God planted a beautiful rose among us,
And her name was Mary Rose Durant.
She blossomed with grace, walked by faith,

And loved with the heart of Christ.
Her favorite color was rose pink,
A color as gentle and beautiful as her spirit.

Like a blooming rose, she brought comfort, hope, and joy

To everyone blessed enough to know her.
She was the rock that stood firm,
The glue that held our family together.
She prayed for us, loved us unconditionally,

And always reminded us to trust God through every season.
Then one glorious day,

She released her wings and answered Heaven's call.

She laid down her earthly burdens
And was welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus.

Though tears fill our eyes,
We know she is no longer suffering.
She now walks the streets of gold,
Worshiping the Savior she faithfully served.

Every time we see the color rose pink,
We'll remember her gentle smile, her warm embrace,

Her unwavering faith, and the love she poured into our family.

Like a rose, her legacy will continue to bloom in our hearts forever.
We do not say goodbye forever,
For God's Word promises we will meet again.

Until that beautiful reunion in Heaven,
We will honor her life by walking in faith, loving one another, and trusting in God's perfect plan.
