

A visitation for Mary will be held Friday, May 23, 2025 at 9:00 AM at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 805 Wayne Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20910. A celebration of life will occur Friday, May 23, 2025 at 10:00 AM, 805 Wayne Avenue, Silver Spring Md., MD 20910. An interment will occur Friday, May 23, 2025 at Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Road, Clinton, MD 20735.
Mary G. Isaac was born on November 17, 1951, in Castries, Saint Lucia, WI to the late Charles P. and Phyllis Cenac-Isaac who both preceded her in death. She was the 3rd of 8 children. Mary professed her faith at a young age and was baptized as Roman Catholic.
As a child Mary attended primary school in Vieux Fort, Saint Lucia, WI and lived there until she moved to Brooklyn, New York in 1966. After moving to Brooklyn, Mary attended Grover Cleveland High School where she received her high school diploma. She later attended Bronx Community College receiving an associate’s degree in business. She also attended Baruch College receiving a bachelor’s degree in marketing. Mary concluded her education at New York University receiving a certificate in Paralegal Studies.
Mary worked in various private cooperation’s, as a contractor in DC Government. Briefly in her career, Mary was a Social Worker for Maryland’s Montgomery County Government before ending her career in Maryland’s Prince George’s County Government as an Administrator/Paralegal Aide.
Mary moved to Silver Spring, Maryland in 2003 and quickly adapted to a much calmer and relaxed environment. Mary knew no strangers, always lending a helping hand. Her compassionate care and concern extended to everyone around her. She welcomed everyone in her home and her hospitality along with her humanity was felt by all. She joined St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Silver Spring, Maryland and was a devout catholic, and God-fearing woman. Mary enjoyed shopping and had very elegant taste. She knew all the business and didn’t mind giving you, her opinion. LOL
Mary entered into eternal rest on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025, at the age of 73. She was preceded in death by her mother; Phyllis, father; Charles, three brothers; Allison, Andrew, and Odell, and one niece; Jacqueline.
Mary was affectionately known as “Zsa Zsa Gabor” because of her fashionable attire. Zsa Zsa will truly be missed by all who knew her. Her memories will be cherished by her four brothers: Robert (and family) of Brooklyn, New York, Morgan (and family), Sherman (and family), both of London, England; Anthony of Upper Marlboro, Maryland; two sisters: Lilith (and family) of Saint Lucia, WI, Bette (and family) of London, England; the Elliott family, the Cenac family, the Isaac family, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was also cherished by her special friend Anton Osborne (and family), and friends of the family; Sandra Wilson (and family), Julliette Balabaian (and family), Jennifer Critchlow (and family), Renee Bell (and family), Shanta Grant (and family), Tashonda Payne (and family) and Susie Brutus (and family)
They will all miss her love, her laugh and celebrate her legacy.
