Mary L Neely

Mary was born on July 21,1937 in Washington DC to James and Beatrice Brady. She was the oldest child and sister to Joneta Mothershead.

Mary Worked at Stones Mercantile Agency and was the cafeteria manager at Ogden Food Services at PG community college and Domino Sugar in Baltimore. She volunteered for many years to the Salvation Army collecting donations and being a bell ringer. Mary also donated blood frequently to the American red cross.

On June 25, 1955 at Calvary Methodist Church in Washington DC she married the love of her life Raymond Neely and they remained married for the last sixty five years. She was the proud mother of two children Raymond Jr (Dusty) and Laura.

Mary loved going camping and was a member of a traveling camper club called the Road Runners. She and Ray then moved their camper to a permanent site at Saunderosa Campground in Mercersburg Pa in 1990 where they have enjoyed camping ever since. She enjoyed watching football and rooting on her Redskins. She was an active volunteer for the Great American 250 lawnmower races. She had fun doing crafts and cross stitch. She enjoyed going to different yard sales. She was very fond of music, dancing, and throwing parties with friends.

Mary is survived by her beloved husband Ray, her son Raymond Jr (Dusty) and his wife Nikki , her daughter Laura and husband Jimmy. Her adoptive sister's Seneta Sanford and Dolores Wilson. Her grandchildren Mary and her spouse Ed, Jennifer and her spouse Jimmy, Raymond 3rd (Rusty) and his wife Shawna , James Mathew , Angel Lynn and her spouse Mike , and Michael Shawn. Her great grandchildren Brandon and his wife Rachel, Rachael, Jessica, Eli, Zeke, Maverick, Justin and his wife Destiny, Sarah, Dallas, Jared, Bryce, Kylee, Teagan, Cameron, and Nathan. Her great great grandchildren Evelyn, Astride, Liam, and Myla. And of Course her beloved pets Max, Bailey, and Roxy.

You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we can not see you are always by our side.
