On January 17, 2018, passed away peacefully in his home. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 61 years, Consula; father of Towanna Genies, Veronica (Allen) Wilson and Thurston (Diana) Genies; brother of Rentha Genies. He is also survived by five grand children and six great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held at FORT LINCOLN FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Bladensburg Rd., Brentwood, MD on Monday January 29. Viewing from 12:30 p.m. until time of service, 1:30 p.m. Interment Ft. Lincoln Cemetery.
