Monica was one of the first people I met when I first moved into Upper Marlboro back in 2002. She treated me like family even though I was the typical Eagles fan. Monica you will be missed. Rest in heaven.

I worked with Monica up at Grizzlys, I stayed in touch with her over the years, as a matter of fact I talked to her about a month ago, she was in the nursing home, she did not know who I was right away, but then it clicked in, Monica RIP and I will see you one day again.

How many memories do I have? Moni and I worked together at Grizzly’s for 13 years...the question still remains..which one of us wanted to throttle Paul more...you, me or Cindy? I remember Moni, Kajun and me drinking mind erasers at the bar until dawn and yes it was Moni’s idea...working many Wednesday nights with Kajun & Eric....Super Bowl Sundays....going to Casey’s after work....Michael’s obscene phone calls to you at the bar that made you laugh ‘til you cried....Cindy & Tom’s house in the summer.....I could go on and on. I miss you already and I’m glad we talked a few weeks ago. I know how much she missed Doug and her mom and now she misses them no more...I love you, Monica!❤️❤️

Monty was such fun to be around! I loved hanging with her after work and teasing her about the Redskins. She always had a smile on her face, black eye liner around her eyes and a 7&7 in her hand. Grizzlies was a home away from home. Wether we were celebrating the good or the bad Monty was always there to listen, laugh, hug or cry. Monica was a friend to three generations of my family and so much more to many others. She is loved and missed But the many years of memories will keep her spirt fresh in the hearts of us all for years to come. Possibly three more generations.

My dearest Mo,
There are simply no words to describe how much you touched and welcomed each and every one of us when we walked through the doors of Grizzly's. I was fortunate to have shared the best times as well as the darkest times of my life. You saw me through them all. You'll be sorely missed and always loved. 💔
