Scripture: 2 Cor. 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens (NKJV)
Octavius Terrell Boler Sr. known as “Tay” or “Tick” was the son of Eulace and Paulette Boler departed this life on May 21, 2020. His beloved mother loved him unconditionally, just as Christ loves the world. His two sisters Caprice and Tyese who loved him very much will miss him along with their children.
Tay was born on February 29, 1968 in Washington, DC at DC General Hospital. He was the eldest of three children.
He received his formal education in Washington, DC by attending Emery elementary, Dupont Park SDA school and then graduated from Archbishop Carroll in May 1987. Throughout his career, Tay was employed by Metro Access, and also by various construction sites.
Along Octavius pathway of life, he made three (3) decisions that would forever change his life.
1. First was his first love Angie and out of that relationship was the birth of their son, Octavius Terrell Boler Jr.
2. Second, he loved and married Mimi Howard on Oct. 1, 2004.
3. Finally, the most important decision he could ever make in his life was accepting Jesus Christ for his Lord and Savior. Now we can say, Scripture: 2 Cor. 5:8 “Absent from the body is present with Lord.”
Octavius was a great fan of the Dallas Cowboys, which he thought was the #1 football team in the U.S. He enjoyed eating chinese food and seafood. He also loved dogs, especially, pitbull’s and rottweilers.
Tay was loved by his family and many friends. Preceded by his death was his beloved grandmother Gwendolyn Daniels. Tay leaves to cherish his memory, his son Octavius Terrell Bolder Jr.(son’s mom, Angie), mother, Paulette Boler, sisters, Caprice Boler, Tyese Lawrence, niece, Deyon, nephews, Davaughn (Pilar) , Trent, great niece, Kenzie, great nephew, Joaquin Mimi Boler, aunts, Patricia Brady, Pamela Tolson (Melvin), Linda Boykin (Jay), uncle, Wilbert Jackson and host of cousins family and friends. Octavius is forever loved and missed by ALL.
Family Prayer: Father God in the Name of Jesus, THANK YOU for allowing Octavius Terrell Boler Sr. to be an essential part of our lives for 52 years, here on this earth. In the name of Jesus, AMEN
TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
