Patrick Leroy Wood

Patrick LeRoy Wood is the son of Ranard Wood and Neisa Smith Wood. He was born in Washington, DC on November 14, 1969. He entered into eternal rest on September 27, 2021.

He graduated from the Washington Wardolf School in Bethesda, Maryland then entered The University of the District of Columbia (UDC) where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. While there he met his college sweetheart, Tamara Nicole Golphin. Patrick accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age.

He devoted his career to the mental health industry as an esteemed colleague and respected member of the medical mental health industry. Patrick received countless awards and accommodations in pharmacology for the mental health arena.

In 2011, he married the love of his life, Tamara Nicole Golphin. Shortly, after the couple welcomed their son, Patrick Colin in 2013 and daughter, Mila Nicole in 2014. This was the beginning of Team Wood.

Throughout the years, as a devoted son, husband, father and brother. Patrick lived his life with love, peace and joy. His adventurous spirit was reflected in his love for FAMILY and FRIENDS. Let us celebrate his memory by celebrating a life built on the love of God and Family.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Tamara Wood, son, Patrick Colin, daughter, Mila Nicole, mother, Neisa Smith Wood, father, Ranard Wood, sister, Nichole Ali brothers, Christopher and Ranard Wood, Uncle, Giuseppe (Katherine) Jones, mother-in-law, Ruth (Bobby) Smith, father-in-law, Ronald (Star) Williams, sister-in-law, Jocelyn, nieces, Alexis, Jordyn, Kairi, Sayuri and Amin, nephews, Avaughn and Jaiden. Devoted Friends, Jonathan Steele, Paul Giampapa, Quentin Berryman, Chanda Hutcherson, Jannell Thomas and a host of other relatives, colleagues and neighbors.
