"Rick" passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 in Washington, DC. Husband of Flora Griggs; father of Ricardo Griggs, Jr. and Toi Spriggs (Lamont). He is also survived by two step-children, Lynette Saunders and Kevin Davis; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Lamont Griggs; a sister, Sheila Griggs; a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held on Saturday, August 4 from 12:30 p.m. until time of service 1:30 p.m. at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home, 3401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, MD. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
