

Ricky received his education from Bells High School and Wayne College in Tennessee. Ricky moved to Washington, DC when he was 18 years of age. He has worked many jobs but he embarked on his final career venture at Small Business Administration (SBA). He started at SBA as a Grant Specialist for the Federal Government in September 2005.
Ricky had a vibrant personality. He loved to talk and make everyone around him laugh. He enjoyed his family, friends, keeping his car immaculate, and playing cards. He was always there to lend a hand or provide words of encouragement.
Ricky’s talks, humor, family values, and love for God is how he met the love of his life Pam. They met at Internal Revenue Service (IRS) building in 1999 where they both worked. After a lunch date he made his move and kissed her on the elevator. They were officially inseparable from each other and were married on March 15, 2005.
Ricky is survived by his devoted and loving wife Pamela Johnson; two children Dedrick Tremayne Love and Alexis Makiyah Toatley; four siblings Raymond Bonds, Terry Black, Craig Cathey, and Sheron Robertson all residing in Tennessee; two brother-in-laws Rudolph Johnson and Dwight Sullivan, Jr.; father-in-law and mother-in-law Dwight and Wilhelmina Sullivan, and a host of other relatives and friends.
